Our Holiday Minis this year were such a success, and we loved meeting so many new friends! While we could easily share ten times as many images from these fun sessions, here are just a few groupings from some of these gorgeous families. We’re already planning even more dates/times for 2018 Holiday Minis including an early bird special pricing option, so keep an eye out as we move closer to the fall. Until then have a great new year!

It’s so great to work with clients who are willing to have a little fun during their session. It’s also a treat to capture some less than stuffy head shots for professionals in all fields. Mirella and Luis contacted us to get some updated shots for their new website, and I certainly hope we’ll get to work with them again very soon! Also, how great is downtown Winter Park? 🙂

It is every wedding vendor’s not so secret wish to have brides (and grooms) who are calm, nonplussed, and kind no matter the circumstance, and in all regards Katelynn was a dream. From our first meeting, I knew that Katelynn would be a breeze to work with, and the way Pierce lights up every time he looks at her says more about their relationship than words ever could. Their day was full of beautiful details and plenty of laughter — as I can only imagine their married life together will be!

I’ve seen a lot of photographer friends posting before and after pictures recently and decided it was time to hop on the bandwagon. It’s always been amazing to me how much can be accomplished in editing if you know what to do and have the correct tools to do it – and if your original image starts with the right framing and composition. Below are a few shots from recent sessions as they appeared right after they were imported and cropped paired with their final edited versions. I purposefully picked ones that didn’t require a lot of “fixing” but mostly just needed enhancing. I’ve also included a great video from Professional Photographers of America about the difference between going with a pro over just having a decent camera when you’re looking to document the important occasions and people in your life. Of course it’s more investment to go with a professional, but these before and after shots give you just a little more of an idea what you’re actually paying for in the end. I think you can see the difference!
