I’ll be quick to admit that I know next to nothing about motorcycles, but when Larry called me about doing a session for a magazine feature on his bike I was excited. Turns out Larry has an absolutely gorgeous Harley and paired with some beautiful spring weather, we got some really spectacular shots. I can’t wait to see the official feature!

I absolutely love living in Florida. Sure there are a few downsides — like the almost unbearably warm summers and the love bugs and the tourist/senior drivers — but there are so many incredible upsides! Kelsey and Joel’s morning beachside wedding beautifully illustrates quite a number of these. Sunshine, palm trees, the ocean, and a simply gorgeous fall day to name a few. And as if that wasn’t enough of a dream for a wedding photographer, this couple and their wedding party sealed the deal. Both the bride and groom come from the hospitality/entertainment/fitness industry so I knew from the get go that it was going to be an entertaining day. Despite the early morning “call time” (performer speak for when you need to show up somewhere) this whole crew was bubbling over with joy and excitement almost from the start, and I left their wedding reception with sincere gratitude that spending such a momentous day with amazing couples like Kelsey and Joel is what I get to call work!

New babies are wonderful in so many ways; they’re small and perfect – especially those little fingers and toes – and in their eyes, you can truly see the wonder of this world. Plus they bring so much light and life in to a family. Reid is the first little one for mom and dad, and I think you can see just how smitten they already are with him. And who can blame them.

This little lady. Long awaited and anticipated, Miss Eva is a true Florida ray of sunshine. Happy, easy going, and quick to smile and giggle, she’s a joy to be around and even more of a pleasure to photograph. Though she wasn’t a big fan of the water during our beach session, she was fascinated by the sand — and is there anything better than sandy baby fingers and toes? A family this adorable and loving might be one of the few things that is.

You may recognize this beauty from her last session with us. In the past year or so, she’s only gotten taller and more lovely. As you can see, little brother has also grown too! With diverse interests and stunning looks, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Miss C.

Senior portraits aren’t always the highlight of any young man’s summer plans, but Anthony was a good sport, and we even had some fun during his warm summer session. Cathedral High School is one of the most picturesque campuses in Indianapolis especially in August when the trees are full and green. Despite the mosquitos and warm temperature, we managed to get some great shots! Congrats on what I’m sure will be a fantastic senior year Anthony.

Cathedral High School is one of my favorite places for senior portrait sessions in Indianapolis, partially due to nostalgia (it’s my alma mater and the site of many fond memories) and partially because it’s just so beautiful in any season. When we met from the first part of Brantley’s senior session it was a lovely summer day with the trees and flowers in full bloom. Since Brantley has been a committed baseball player for four years at Cathedral, we also took some time to get some shots out at the field. Whether or not he continues playing ball, Brantley is going to find success in his next chapters – of that I feel certain.
